About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior DevOps Engineer to lead the design, deployment, and scaling of mission-critical infrastructure for secure, high-volume platforms. You will play a strategic role in shaping our DevSecOps strategy, collaborating across teams to ensure our AI-driven deepfake detection solutions are deployed reliably, securely, and efficiently.

What You’ll Do

• Architect and manage multi-region, secure cloud infrastructure using Terraform, Pulumi, or CloudFormation.
• Lead the development and optimisation of CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitLab CI, Jenkins, GitHub Actions) to support rapid and compliant releases.
• Oversee production-grade containerised environments using Kubernetes (EKS, GKE, or equivalent).
• Design observability and incident response systems (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Datadog) to meet SLAs and SLOs.
• Implement and enforce DevSecOps practices including secrets management, vulnerability scanning, and IAM/role-based access control.
• Collaborate with engineering, AI/ML, and cybersecurity teams to support production-ready infrastructure.
• Lead root-cause analysis and ongoing improvements to system reliability, performance, and security.
• Mentor junior DevOps engineers and contribute to the definition of infrastructure standards and best practices.

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years of hands-on DevOps, SRE, or Cloud Infrastructure experience in complex environments.
• Proven experience working in a bank or fintech environment supporting systems used by over 100 million users - including large-scale CI/CD deployments, robust network design, and infrastructure security compliance (e.g. PCI DSS, ISO 27001).
• Expert-level knowledge of AWS, GCP, or Azure cloud infrastructure and security controls.
• Strong experience with Kubernetes in production environments, and container orchestration at scale.
• Proficiency in automation and scripting (Python, Bash, Go).
• Deep understanding of cloud networking, load balancing, and high-availability architectures.
• Ability to manage infrastructure costs and performance trade-offs in regulated environments.
• Excellent communication, documentation, and team leadership skills.

Bonus Points For

• Familiarity with GPU-based infrastructure or AI/ML model deployment pipelines.
• Experience with zero-downtime deployments and blue/green or canary release strategies.
• Exposure to deepfake detection, cybersecurity, or compliance-heavy SaaS platforms.
