Dr Ashima Chopra brings three decades of international experience in technology and innovation research. She has led digital banking transformations for Open Banking, applied technology to enhance commodity markets, supervised over 140 Master’s projects in AI and digital technologies at UK universities, and contributed to innovation in both hardware and software.

Dr Nitish Mital is an AI researcher and technologist with strong expertise in information theory, deep learning, and interdisciplinary problem-solving. He holds degrees from IIT Bombay and Imperial College London. Before joining Datambit, he worked at The Alan Turing Institute on Defence AI, leading projects in synthetic data, mechanistic interpretability, and multimodal agents for national security. He previously worked at Imperial College on wireless networks, federated learning, and neural compression. Award-winning and active in advising on LLM hallucination mitigation, he brings exceptional applied ML expertise to Datambit.

Dr Cristina Alexandra Trifan is a culturally agile strategist and interdisciplinary researcher with a background in digital narratives, decolonising methodologies, and over a decade of experience leading international projects and working with organisations across Europe and the Asia-Pacific. At Datambit, Alexandra leads stakeholder engagement, marketing, strategic product development, and research innovation in deepfake detection, AI governance, and compliance, overseeing the full project life cycle from bidding to delivery.

Douglas MacDonald is a cybersecurity consultant with over two decades of experience in IT, dedicated to helping businesses secure and optimise their digital operations, most recently within the financial services sector. Doug is now focusing on deepfake detection, addressing the emerging security risks posed by AI-generated content.

Margaux Leblanc has a background in AI research and development, investigating topics at the intersection of AI safety and security, disinformation and deception for UK government partners. She holds a Master's in Social and Geographic Data Science from UCL. At Datambit, Margaux builds and deploys robust and scalable deepfake detection solutions for stakeholders.

Karishma Naravane is an experienced UK corporate lawyer offering commercial and practical legal advice to companies at all stages, including early-stage, fast-growing businesses, SMEs, and large corporates, as well as to founders and investors. Clients range from high-growth businesses to international conglomerates, spanning a variety of sectors. With over a decade of experience advising on corporate legal matters at Allen & Overy (now A&O Shearman), Karishma now independently advises companies and clients on their scale-up journeys.

Ramesh Radhakrishnan is a graduate of IIT Madras with a Master’s in Systems Engineering from the University of Virginia. An entrepreneur with over 30 years of experience in technology and healthcare, he co-founded four successful Silicon Valley startups - Zeitnet, Clarity Wireless, Airgo Networks, and FireEye - each acquired or publicly listed. Formerly with Hewlett Packard, he holds several patents in networking, security, and wireless technologies. Ramesh is currently a partner at Artiman Capital India, investing in early-stage technology and healthcare ventures globally.

Dr James Wallace is a Professor and member of PRIMAL, an international research network led by the University of Paris. Formerly in industry, he now works on mentoring projects in collaboration with France’s CFDT union. A Fellow of the Royal Statistical Society and member of several academic associations, he has also advised a range of public and private sector organisations, including the NHS, British Gas, and Land Registry NI. Professor James Wallace is a mathematician and statistician with over 62 publications in world-leading journals, and is appointed by Datambit’s to ensure the hygiene and non-bias of Datambit’s deepfake detection models.

Kadikar Dattatraya is a seasoned and innovative serial entrepreneur and AI enthusiast with nearly 40 years of experience building and scaling successful businesses across the UK, India, and beyond in IT, Legal services and Real Estate. Passionate about leveraging technology to solve complex problems and empowering SMEs and Startups. MBA in General Management with a Degree in Law.
