Dr Ashima Chopra brings three decades of international experience in technology and innovation research. She has led digital banking transformations for Open Banking, applied technology to enhance commodity markets, supervised over 140 Master’s projects in AI and digital technologies at UK universities, and contributed to innovation in both hardware and software.
Sadip Wagle brings 9+ years’ experience in software engineering and AI, with a Master’s from Coventry University and NVIDIA AI Professional Certification. At Datambit, he leads development of multi-modal deepfake detection systems and oversees architecture, data, model training, optimisation, and deployment.
Ryan Joyce has deep expertise in banking infrastructure, identity verification, and KYC compliance. With senior experience at Salesforce, he excels at navigating complex financial services sales, engaging senior stakeholders, and building high-performing go-to-market teams. He helps deep tech startups - especially in AI and digital identity - turn innovation into commercial traction with banks, fintechs, and regulated institutions.
Dr Cristina Alexandra Trifan is a culturally agile strategist and interdisciplinary researcher with a background in digital narratives, decolonising methodologies, and over a decade of experience leading international projects and working with organisations across Europe and the Asia-Pacific. At Datambit, Alexandra leads stakeholder engagement, marketing, strategic product development, and research innovation in deepfake detection, AI governance, and compliance, overseeing the full project life cycle from bidding to delivery.
Mahesh Warang holds a Master’s degree in Computer Science from Coventry University and a Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology. Mahesh specialises in software engineering with a strong focus on distributed systems, scalability, and cloud deployments. At Datambit, Mahesh builds cloud-based applications, manages infrastructure and optimises workload performance.
Karishma Naravane is an experienced UK corporate lawyer offering commercial and practical legal advice to companies at all stages, including early-stage, fast-growing businesses, SMEs, and large corporates, as well as to founders and investors. Clients range from high-growth businesses to international conglomerates, spanning a variety of sectors. With over a decade of experience advising on corporate legal matters at Allen & Overy (now A&O Shearman), Karishma now independently advises companies and clients on their scale-up journeys.
Dr James Wallace is a Professor and member of PRIMAL, an international research network led by the University of Paris. Formerly in industry, he now works on mentoring projects in collaboration with France’s CFDT union. A Fellow of the Royal Statistical Society and member of several academic associations, he has also advised a range of public and private sector organisations, including the NHS, British Gas, and Land Registry NI. Professor James Wallace is a mathematician and statistician with over 62 publications in world-leading journals, and is appointed by Datambit’s to ensure the hygiene and non-bias of Datambit’s deepfake detection models.
